Dr. Smith is a Partner at Maple Health Group, with strong experience across a variety of quantitative analytical methods, which he has applied to HEOR and biopharma commercial assessment. His work is centred around HEOR strategy and economic evidence generation, including CUA/CCAs, BIMs, and ITC/NMAs, developed for a diverse set of private and public payer bodies, in addition to commercial forecasting.
Prior to joining Maple Health Group, Dr. Smith was the lead HEOR project manager within the Value Demonstration practice at CBPartners, where he oversaw 5 modelers and medical writers. He also worked as the senior biotechnology associate at BMO Capital Markets, synthesizing clinical, competitive, and pricing analyses into commercial assessments and investment opportunities
Dr. Smith holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience form Yale University as well as a B.Sc. in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University.
