Corporate Social Responsibility

Our commitment

At Maple Health Group, we recognize that the decisions we make and actions we take can impact our environment, our people, and our communities. Our Corporate Social Responsibility policy aligns with the way we do business.

We care about our team members and seek to provide a healthy, diverse work environment that promotes development and adopts new talent.  Since Maple Health Group started in 2015, we have promoted community service days to give back to those local charities and services relevant to our team members located in over a dozen countries. We prioritize ethical business practices and expect the same from our clients and suppliers. And, as a global consultancy, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact and protecting the environment by minimizing our travel through our remote working model across the company and recycling our IT equipment.

Code of conduct and behavior

Maple Health Group complies with all applicable laws and regulations and endeavors to uphold high ethical and moral standards. We expect all team members to behave ethically and responsibly, including honesty, integrity, and responsible decision-making.

Equality and accessibility

Maple Health Group welcomes job applications from those with a diverse range of backgrounds. All applicants are treated solely based on their abilities, and all recruitment, selection, and training are free from discrimination. When engaging with prospective applicants we will always act ethically and abide by the relevant legislation in those regions.

All Maple Health Group team members are expected to treat all persons encountered during their employment respectfully and professionally. Safety, security, and well-being is always a priority concern of our team members, vendors, and customers.

We will not tolerate discrimination, harassment or victimization in the workplace or in connection with any services we provide. We expect our suppliers to offer the same commitment, including to their own employees.

Our team's wellbeing

Maple Health Group protects our team members with respect to health and safety and provides them with a safe place to work as outlined in our Health Safety and Environmental Policy. We offer our employees additional benefits which include:

  • Flexible, remote working environment
  • Talent referral program
  • Paid time off
  • Local holiday schedules
  • Health grants
  • Work-from-home grants
  • Charity donation matching program
  • Annual retreat

We also believe our team’s reliability promotes a healthy and enjoyable work environment.

Environmental sustainability

At Maple Health Group, we encourage all of our team members to adopt the same principles and reflect this in our approach to everyday work activities and our relationships with clients. We believe reducing our company's carbon footprint by making smart decisions regarding products, services, and travel. We do this by following our internal Sustainability Policy:

  • Standardizing a remote work-from-home model across the company.
  • Responsible purchasing by assessing and encouraging suppliers to use recycled or renewable resources and actively seek eco‐friendly options.
  • Managing IT waste by re-purposing equipment whenever possible.
  • Offering virtual meetings as a preferred option when meeting with our clients.
  • Avoid printing materials by working in a digitally collaborative environment.
Community and charity engagements

Maple Health Group hosts multiple "Maple Service Days" per calendar year.  These opportunities give our team members a chance to give back to their local communities and charities that need help with raising awareness, donations, environmental clean-up, and other important causes.  With the help of our team members across a dozen countries, Maple Health Group continues to participate in charity races, food drives, and environmental clean-up efforts that improve the well-being of those around us.

Policy review

Our policies at Maple Health Group are reviewed every 12 months or sooner if significant changes are required to ensure we are compliant and up to date with the latest regulations and industry best practices.
