Dr. Beckerman is the founder of Maple Health Group and has over a decade of experience in biotechnology commercial assessment and biomedical research. Her work is centred around clinical and economic value demonstration to HTA and payer bodies in the developed and emerging markets, with a focus on the development of comprehensive reimbursement, HTA and HEOR strategies and the construction of evidence-based and user-friendly health economic models.
Prior to founding Maple Health Group, Dr. Beckerman founded and led the Value Demonstration practice at CBPartners which she grew to a diverse team of 10 modellers, medical writers, and HTA experts across the firm’s New York City and London offices.
Dr. Beckerman earned a Statistical Methods in Health Economics Certificate from the London School of Economics and holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from Columbia University. Prior to her doctorate, Dr. Beckerman earned her B.Sc. in Biochemistry from McGill University.
