Ms. Thurgar has over 15 years of experience in economic modelling and health economic evaluation. She has developed and adapted global cost effectiveness models, budget impact models, models for submission to health technology assessment agencies, and has a special interest in early economic modelling.
Ms. Thurgar has experience in a wide range of disease areas, including oncology and rare diseases, as well as experience critiquing economic analyses and has previously worked for a technology assessment group, assessing manufacturer submissions to NICE.
Currently, she sits on NICE Technology Appraisal Committee C.
Ms. Thurgar attended City University in the UK earning her Master of Sciences in Health Economics, and the University of Melbourne earning her Master of Sciences in Commerce (Economics). Prior to that, she attended Nottingham University where she earned a Bachelor of Sciences in Economics.
